Early (Pre)Spring Walk

It was sometime back in early March that Emily and I went on this hike to enjoy the unusually early spring weather.  There wasn't much in the way of spring greenery, but there were many other wonders worth documenting.  We started out down the road, then decided to go back along the banks of the creek that runs through our property - more or less as the crow flies.
 

It certainly didn't save us any time, but that didn't matter since we were in no hurry to be anywhere but in the moment.
