Explain this to a two-year-old ~

When Daddy leaves in the morning, he is going to work.  When he comes back, he is home.  When Mr. VanDyk gets here, he is at work, and when he leaves, he is going home.

She accepts this sort of doesn't-seem-to-make-sense stuff just like she accepts her house looking different every time she walks through. It's all OK with her.

Love the hair band :) Man, every time you post a picture of her she has grown and lost more of her little toddler look :(.

Ha, we just had this problem today. My sister told my two year old she had to go home, and he said, "but... you are home." That's just so hard to understand.
Your little girl is so cute! So big, so fast.

We (Mr. VanDyk and I) had a good chuckle about this when Dan came home for some supplies-to confuse the girlie even more, you can let her know that he comes home for work sometimes! ;O)

Mel,
Yes, and when Daddy comes home, he spends most of his time working. How do little people ever make sense of things? :)
