Brent is Seven!

Our seventh turned seven yesterday.  Where does the time go?

His special day started out at the restaurant for breakfast with both Dad and Mom - because he couldn't decide which one he wanted to go with and because Dad and Mom didn't mind having an excuse to go out together. :)   Then there were the presents, a day off school (for him) and friends over in the afternoon.  It was a good day.  Do you see that wooden thing sticking out on the left side of the picture?  That's part of the chain saw that some of the kids made for him. I think all of our walls have been sawn to pieces several times already. :)

Brent is serious, quirky, quiet and dramatic.  Don't ask me how he fits it all in one package, but he does and it's fun.  He can get us laughing just by the way he says things and the sound effects that go with it. (He comes by that naturally, right Rob? Hee hee.)

****************

Thomas had his appointment with the specialist today.  She was not surprised that he still experiences such bad motion sickness and expects that it will last for about 6 months.  She is confident that he will get over it in time and just recommended using Gravol until he could tolerate travelling again.  She wants to see Thomas again in a year.

Time does slip by frightfully fast!

That Balto book is one of Clara's favorite...and the combine! such great, durable toys. I have that on my list for gifts for William.
It is nice to see a content and happy child with a few simple and quality gifts. :)
