The biggest and littlest of my favourite men...

When we got home the kids got into a game of soccer followed by some hot apple cider.

Joanne went home that evening, while Oma stayed on until this morning. She seemed to adjust amazingly well to our busy household. The noise and activity didn't seem to bother her at all, although she was seen plugging her ears while the kids were practicing their instruments. :) The kids had a great time interacting with her. We are blessed to have her near by and well enough to come for an occasional visit.
Who says play dough is only for kids?

With Oma's help Meghan took on a new sewing project. She's making a teddy bear puppet.
She got the head pieces sewn together...
Over supper we got talking about false teeth, and Gavin piped up, "Remember Opa? Ah-choo!" Then with his hands he demonstrated what happened. Opa had been washing dishes and couldn't put up his hands to prevent his false teeth from flying out. :) So good to have memories of Opa.
